Fit & coverage
Is the Americas Desk right for us?
The manufacturers, products, and markets the Desk is built to support.
What does Tandom Americas Desk do?
Tandom runs buyer development for industrial manufacturers entering the Americas. We research target accounts, contact relevant decision-makers, qualify opportunities, and help your team prepare quotes, revisions, and commercial follow-up.
Which manufacturers are a good fit?
We work with established factories supplying industrial components, equipment, raw materials, and production inputs. Your products should be evaluable by specification, supported by usable technical documentation, and sold through a clearly identified legal entity with a responsive commercial team.
Do we need prior export experience?
No. Export experience helps, but it is not required. A first-time exporter can still be a fit if the factory can document its products, identify the entity that will quote and contract, and respond reliably during evaluation, sampling, and technical questions.
Which markets does the Desk cover?
The Desk currently focuses on the United States and Brazil. We will add other Latin American markets as Tandom’s local buyer coverage expands.
Buyer development
How does the work actually run?
How Tandom finds demand, contacts buyers, and supports a commercial response.
How does Tandom find buyers and qualify real demand?
We start with live buyer demand: sourcing requirements and RFQs brought directly to Tandom, activity across products used by tens of thousands of importers, and trade, company, and product data. We then compare those signals with your products, technical evidence, capacity, and commercial fit before deciding what is worth pursuing.
What happens when a buyer has a sourcing requirement?
The buyer defines the requirement and decides which suppliers to evaluate. Tandom helps your team understand what is needed, prepare an organized commercial response, and manage questions, revisions, and follow-up. Your disclosed legal seller sends the quote; the buyer decides whether to proceed.
How do I verify an RFQ or sourcing email from Tandom?
Use our verification page to send the Tandom representative’s name, your factory, and the subject line or RFQ reference. Our team will confirm whether the sender and conversation are authorized. You do not need to forward the complete email or include confidential specifications.

What will our team see and control?
Clear ownership of accounts, contacts, conversations, and buyer relationships.
Are the buyer accounts, contacts, and relationships ours?
Yes. The target accounts, relevant contacts, conversations, and next actions for your engagement remain visible to your team. Tandom does not lock the relationship inside a black-box platform. When a buyer engages, the relationship is direct, and your disclosed legal seller quotes, contracts, and receives payment.
Fees & expectations
What are we paying for?
How the engagement is priced and what Tandom can—and cannot—promise.
How does Tandom get paid, and do you guarantee orders?
Services are a fixed fee agreed before work begins. Representation, when you choose it, is a commission agreed in writing. Neither adds a markup to your price, neither buys buyer interest, and neither can guarantee a reply or an order.
